The Lower Extremity Injury Prevention Program is offered by The STAR Program in association with Mary Rutan Hospital Therapy & Sports Medicine. The focus of the program is to aid athletes in ACL and other lower extremities injury prevention. The program includes learning how to properly land and dissipate force, change direction, improving balance, body control and general strength. The program also includes biomechanical landing analysis with dartfish technology.
The 2018 program is open to high school and middle school female athletes and runs from June 4 to July 20. To enroll, please contact Athletic Trainer Addy Passaro at (937) 404-1464.
